I have a real issue with my tent I need to keep stealth as possible as where I live but I haven't been able to zip up the tent due to heat issues running a 600w hps duel spectrum in a 120x120x200 tent but now they are budding and stinking like hell I really need to zip up and getting the carbon filter going but when I zip it up I'm hitting around 35 degrees which i think is too hot as I was told I should be between 26-28 degrees.. im totally out of budget all I can think to do is to put in a 300w CFL I have spare but think it'll ruin my grow since I've been running 600w hps since the start. I have around a month and a half left.. any suggestions?

New grower. First run.

Aluminum turkey baking pan at least 4-6" deep. Cut a 6" hole in the bottom. Tape it to a section of exhaust duct. Hang it directly over the bulb. Get it as close as you can. Think of it as a half enclosed hood. It'll vacuum the heat off the bulb better.

Do you have your bulb in a hood? Dimmable ballast? Running lights on during day or night?

Why...
air cooled hoods help lots
could run 400watt lamp
running at night means lower ambient temp.

If not already doing it get air moving in low and moving out high. Hot air raises.

35c isn't the best but some guys on the aussie thread see hotter with no ill effects. Maybe not as dense as cooler temps but they finish fine. Air movement seems to be the key, especially across the top of the canopy.
Were in the tent are you taking the temp from?
Are you using an extraction fan and if so how big is it?
Are you venting the tent out of the room the tent is in? If not then you should, other wise ur heating the room.
Is your air intake coming from a cooler place? If not can it.

Does the humidty match the temps- this helps. Ill see if I can find the chart..

Had same problem with my grow man. I fixed it with a portable ac unit ducted into the tent with a 6" inline fan down the line to boost the flow. Now im running 2 600watt hps with temps max 27 degrees on a hot day.
