Heat stress on seedling?

I think my 2700k bulb burned my seedling. I came back about ONE hour exact later to check and the leave edges are curling up on the one plant. The other two are fine. But this one was right below the 2700k bulb. The leaves on two of the plants are pointing up but i did some research and it says that that is normal and healthy. But the plant that got burned, the leaves are pointing up. Is this heat stress? Or do you think that it is nute burn? i am using soil with nutes in it. Any advice would be help full. As of right now I unplugged the 2700k and lightly misted the top of the plant and the soil. My 6500K bulb produces like no heat. so that is what I have on them now. They ARE both 105Watts. not any of the equivalent shit. But any ideas? will she...or he live? lolIMG_0196.jpgIMG_0197.jpgIMG_0195.jpg

Both could be a culprit. Seedlings that young are easily burned by nutes -- if you want to avoid nute burn, don't give them nutes (or put them in soil with nutes) until they're 2-3 weeks old. I'm hydro, so I don't have a problem controlling this issue -- but if your soil has a lot of nutes, it might kill the seedlings.

They also need just gentle light at first.

What soil are you using? This might help the next viewer give you a diagnosis.

do some more reading my friend. you haven't done enough learning. Spend some time in the newbe area and read a ton. dont put more then one seed in a pot. how far are the lights from seed....get the right light and for most cfl about 12 inchs to start with a fan blowing over them so they sway at some point but have a point where they dont have constant wind on em.

Whenever you have new seedlings going into dirt it is a good idea to keep a spray-bottle handy.
Newly rooted clones will also curl up as soon as they get transplanted. Trick is to spray the new ones
a couple times a day as they start out. I'm home full time so I spray mine a half-dozen times a day at first.
I know, it looks like the water is weighing down the leaves and contributing to the curling. Wrong. The leaves will soon absorb
that water and stiffen up.

Good luck, BigSteve.

big steve- a plastic seethru doom on top of the misted clone when you transplant it will help keep the moisture in so you dont have to mist 5 times a day. I wouldnt mist em five times a day.

I have spray bottle, no cfls should be about 1-6 inches away not 12. and I am going to trans plant them when they get alittle bigger. I was just wondering why this was happening. And no its not the wrong bulb, well yes it is but i have a 6500k bulb also. So its like a full spectrum light,.
