Heating issues

Hi,

Is it best to use a small ceramic space heater to keep a 10'x10' basement warm for the winter season? I anticipate a fair amount of chill (34-40f).

:spew: <-just had to

Thanks

what kind of lights are you running? if your running high wattage lamps a space heater might only be necessary when they're turned off. space heaters kill on electricity too.

same, depending on your lights you may not need a heater at all..

The better ceramic heaters have thermostats that work well. I have one in a closet and it only comes on if temp drops to a certain point then shuts off when it goes above that.
