i have 2 h.d.f. seeds but never grew them, was gonna cross it to my sour kush to improve yields. looks bomb though

had a friend that was growing it for a while. sometimes really bomb sometimes pretty good, probably due to different phenos. It did produce good as well.

I grew out about 120 HDF's. They produce well, but they are easily stressed by heat, causing them to strech. I have been growing LUI, Sour Deisel, Chronic, and HDF. Out of the 4 strains the Heavy Duty produced the most, but everyone liked the other strains better. I was using an aero system with space limitations and the HDF just gets too damn big. If you have unlimited space, temps below 80 degrees, and quantity is your main concern, this is your strain.
Dont get me wrong the weed is good. Its very crystally and sticky. But its harsh and really doesnt have much bag appeal. I have recently dropped it from my lineup.
It smells like lemon scented furniture polish. Hope this helps.

hi iv got 2 HDF on their first day of 12/12, my question is , if anyone has an idea how does it respond to FIMing and lst techniques?
mine have like 8-10 main tops now and has a real bushy even canopy....

any experienced help would be gladly appreciated +Reps

I think topping and FIMming are recommended in the veg phase but I think you can still LST--the sooner the better--for another 2-3 weeks (before your plant goes through the flowering phase growth spurt)

ye iv been lst-ing them since i topped on about the 3-4 node, theyv hed bout 3 weeks recovering in veg until i put them in flower last thursday....
wat i wanted to no is has anybody had experience with toppin or lst-ing with this strain before that coud share ther findings?
