Height restrictions. Trying to go sog.

So my grow box height is only 4ft so keeping the plants short is crucial.
My idea was to take 12 clones and veg for 2 weeks after roots sprout. Top each of them in hopes to keep them shorter and fill out the room more.

Im using a 400w air cooled setup with co2.

Any thoughts or recommendations? I'm just tired of tiny yields because the buds aren't getting good enough light penetration. I'm hoping this sog style will fix that

Thanks for the link. But I'm not looking for strains. I already have quite a few. Although the size of that cola in that picture looks unreal!!! But my main concern is if the 12 clones topped and begged for 2 weeks would be good for my 4x4x4 box.

So nobody has ever used a 400 watter with a short ceiling? Come on people, I'm just looking for some advice to better my yield and quality.

I don't know, 2 weeks of veg may be too long.

12" pot, 12" reflector 6" of space between light and plants. Not leaving much room.

Alright. Well if two weeks veg is too long I could just skip the veg. But then I would be worried the 12 clones wouldn't fill out enough of the room. Would I need more clones then ?

Veg for 1 week? That may be just enough to get em bigger but not too big. Just my two cents.

yeah i was doing exactk that some strains stretch too much i had to switch me veg area with my flower area... pain in the ass.

anyways NO VEG TIME at all needed thats the only way to keep them under that height, or if you tie them down but then they will start to get in the way of each other.

when the root are in the soil and you got new growth put them in flower the first 2 weeks of flower are like veg any ways

That Does sound Like the way I'm gonna have to go. My boxes are 4x4 so how many clones should go under there? With the no veg time I would need at least 16 right? Just to fill the room but not crowd each other since the idea is to create room
