Hello all Lurking here for a while, I have 18 years of cultivation under my belt as a hobby. I love all things cannabis.

I have recently been convinced that LED technology has advanced enough that it will be time very soon to build a DIY fixture using Cree CXA series Diodes, I know there are some awesome threads here on RIU specifically and this is why I am coming out of the wood work.

I recently terminated a Breeding project on another forum that will remain mysterious and anonymous from this point forward ;), and will be continuing my hobby here hopefully drama free :).

The info:

Currently my RKS hunt is in a 4x4 tent from China with tonnes of light leaks and a weird off gas that has since subsided after a month being setup in my garage, and deemed safe for a grow.

I vegged under a eye hortilux blue, that failed after a week of my plants stretching, Eye was good enough to replace but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and I am switching to a Mag ballast next time I run that light.

And so it is summer where I am and the heat and humidity are here, I have swapped out an eye Super HPS, and Advanced Nutrients 1000w Square wave low frequency ballast for a 924w Chinese LED.

I know WTF right? well I have lots of stash right now and technically I am phenol hunting at the moment Soo... I know it is blasphemous but the Chinese are help in the intrim till I build my LED light or until winter when the HID's come out and play.

Soilless is Promix BX because that's all they had. The Pots I believe are 2 or 3 Gallon anyone who thinks I am wrong please correct me :)

I am using up some Advanced Nutrients Grow / Bloom, Ro water fortified with General Organics CaMg+ Botanicare Silica Blast Phosphoric acid for PH adjustments etc. It is all really just a hodge podge of part bottles I have left over from other projects that need to be used up.

So here we go :)

Good luck OP,
I know a really old guy that had the real deal seeds , and he was where I got to experience real RKS long long ago. He said the odd one still pops up every few yrs .
But he’s been growing for longer then I’ve been alive.
He grows outdoors n always saves his seeds , they all go into a 4ltr ice cream bucket . There has to be over a million seeds . I grabbed a hand full
No luck, but I’ve only put a small dent into my bag, and bad germ rates . He’s looking for me too, and has a lot better chance because the numbers he runs , I told him, I will fly there n take cuts if he finds the pheno .

keep us updated been lookin for like 20 years i want true cat piss/silverhaze pheno and true roadkill/ original skunk/ true early skunk one pheno no luck X{
