So please allow me to be yet another guy posting pics of their grow set up. Enjoy!
We tossed some germinated seeds in the dirt about a week ago and decided to have a little fun with it so we went out and bought an aerogarden. We tossed the stock herbs nutrients in there and 3 germinated seeds and 3 ungerminated seeds and waited a few days. The germinated seeds started growing but they pretty much just pushed themselves up off the foam stuff. One of the non germinated seeds got some white fuzz growing on top of it, one didnt do anything, and then apparently I didnt scrape all the old seeds out and one had some other stuff growing in it. Take two. We cleaned everything out and put in six freshly germinated seeds yesterday after poking holes all the way through. Were using the stock nutrients until I can rationalize shelling out 60$ for food for my plants and not myself. For light we have the stock hood lights and three 120w CLFs all running 18/6. We're aiming for 2 hydro plants and 2 plants in the dirt along the side. We figure by starting 10 plants we can slowly weed out all the retarded ones and hopefully some males. Its not a perfect setup, but I'm fairly certain a few months from now I'll be getting high off some shit I grew in my closet.
So a few questions:
How can I tell if the seeds are actually growing down and not just pushing themselves up like before? And can I switch from the stock nutrients to the fox farm without the plants freaking out?
