Hello, First time for everything

Hi this is my first thread here and my first real experience growing. I have just started to really get things going. I have my card and can have 12 plants so I purchased 3 clones from the local shop. Two are in the first aero machine I built (widow and blueberry) and the third is in dirt (purple durban). The ones in the aero seem to be lagging behind some. I think i nuked them slightly at the start with a 1080ppm solution. I changed the water and only went with 500ppm, including the 170 ppm from the tap. One week later they have started to grow but i notice they have not really ate any food/water. Is this normal? Is it because my root system is just not developed enough yet? I have Adv nutes (growA&B, B52, piranha, turantrula, and bigbud) and some ph up and down. So does anyone have any suggestions on amounts of each or total ppm and ph levels?

when should i expect the littler/aero plants to start sucking up water/nutes? right now the are at ph of5.7 and 525ppm (growA&B, B52, tarantula, and piranha). I used 1/2 the amount of paranha and tarantula on the package and equal parts of B52:A&B. I mean it been in the machine over a week and grew some, but I feel like i am missing something.........maybe i stunted them in the first week?

is it a must to shut sprayers off on a timer , like 1min on and 5 off?

all i know is that 1080 ppm for clones or seedlings is WAY WAY too much. mine arent even there now and they're a couple weeks into veg. i put a 100 ppm grow in new seedlings and clones. as far as ur particular nutes go, u need to feel that out for urself. and as far as the shutting off the sprayers goes...i dont really do that kinda growing so i cant advise ya on it. goodluck with ur nutes tho. b careful...a thousand should b the mark where ur very cautious. make completely sure that ur plants r ready for it.

thank you was starting to wonder if anyone was gonna answer. my plants are like 10 inches tall now and i have the ppm at 480 (growA&B and B52). I feel like im wasting the nutes. Since they seem to drink only the water and leave the nutes behind, hints the ppm is the same when i fill the water back up to the mark. When do you see the plants start eating nutes?
