Hello All.

I should have done this earlier.

Some Background

I first discovered cannabis over a decade ago and have benefited from its countless uses over the years. I could not imagine what I would do without it, but like many, had to resort to the underground market for access to any supply. After years, and being tired of the inability to control the quality of medicine attained, in addition to other numerous downsides associated with this process, the sudden urge and desire arose to become my own supplier. Looking back, I wish it was exposed sooner.

15 months ago, I did not know about the existence of feminized strains, the multiple databases of knowledge on this subject, the vast number of companies distributing viable seeds, the countless breeders offering all the genetic variations I could imagine and had a very limited understanding of how to care for such an unique specimen. In such time, I have recognized as a community, we all share a mutual goal to consume quality meds, and all possess the desire to learn and constantly strive to improve, in one regard or another, with respect to this wonderful plant.

I am enjoying this continuous learning process and am sure all those who read this, have repeatedly in the past or will, experience the satisfaction in producing, providing and/or consuming one’s own medicine. Communities, such as RIU, aid in the possibility for individuals to experience such freedoms, and thus, earn my appreciation and support. As sincere gratitude in return, I will attempt to contribute to the wealth of knowledge that exists within this respected community; one that has and will continue to help realize a common goal of what seemed so unrealistic just a short time ago.

Much Appreciated and Many Thanks!

I like your mission statement amigo, alot of it rings true with myself. Your shift to cultivation reflects a change sweeping many countries atm. Infact in my country the courts have had to take jail time away from small grows to deal with the recent surge. Soon perhaps our cherrished 'hobby' can be openly celabrated in public, strengthening the communtity even further. I for one would love to meet more growers that live in my city...but at present I know very few.

Hi there.

I share in your optimism and can only hope the rate of progression continues to accelerate in the future.
As for now, I am appreciative to be a part of an unique community; undefined by geographical regions or cultural differences, where 'neighbors' can share their experiences with ease.

Thank You, my friend.

See you around.
