Hi guys, been lurking around for quite a while, today decided to register.
I have been building my setup for last couple of months, i decided a 4x4 tent is the way to go,
Nice cool spot in the basement behind a locked door, 600w magnetic ballast, and now im onto getting my circulation fans going as well as carbon filter etc.
For first time i opted for fem seeds from a bank here in Canada. so far so good, ( avoids male Vs. female confusion )
Most of the terminology is kinda of familiar, especially in lighting as i actually grow live corals for a living. its amazing how close it is,
I am not a fan of digital ballasts for many reasons, i prefer old magnetic style, i dont think L.E.D. is anywhere near spectrum required from the lights i see offered in this industry, i actually have some higher end german made units i may play with down the road, 6k units and my par meter will read as if im burning 2000 watt bulbs. right now i want to go tested and true road,
anyways, enough of my novel, im sure i will have many questions down the road, glad to be here!
