Hellppp transplanting

okay so i have 2 small plant that ive been keeping on my windowcill facing the north, so the most sun hits it. tommorow im going to transfer them into their permanent homes and i was wondering what is a good way to do this? pleaseee post back quick, i gotta do this tommorow, btw is a 250 hps good for 3 plants? i kno it SHOULD work i just dont want it to be pushing it

A 250 HPS emits approximately 27,500 lumens. Three plants will be fine. Transplant each plant as gently as possible. Water well. New growth should appear on each transplant within days.

I give a slight water to the dirt before i turn upside down.....I find this makes it easier...

Tap all the dirt off you can then feed the roots into the soil from about halfway down in half filled pot.Gently feed new media in between the roots while spreading the roots out gently until you completely cover to where you need it.Water well with nute solution!

you can squeeze the pot lightly to loosen it up and then turn it over and just support the stem at the base (dont tug) and the pot should slide right off. also you can take a knife and go around the edge of the pot in an up and down motion and do the same removal technique. the most important thing is that you dont get too rough on your plant! :)

I just try to get almost all of the soil off but not really possible.The more of the old you get off the roots the better but you have to be verrrry gentle.

ha ha alright thanks alottt! so i'll wait a week, keep it under the light, then transfer it to bigger, better things

make sure you transplant it into something a bit bigger than a plastic cup (im sure youre planning to) maybe a 1 gallon pot or so. also dont use terracotta pots. (the ceramic ones) get plastic.

and you can change the soil. it shouldnt hurt anything unless it has a really funky ph level.

well i transfered it to pro-mix that i got at the hydro store, i also got some nutess, and im wondering when to start using themmm? my indoor grow has FINALLY started:) wishh me maddd luck.

Right away! you might want to mix it at half or quarter strenghth.When I transplant,I use full strength nutes but mine are in bigger pot unlike your cup. Use your judgement.If you think the plant is tall enough use full strength.
