Help 1st time grower PLEASE FEED SUM 411

Hello people 1st time grower with a few q's one in partucular its probably dumb but here it goes. Is it normal for youre hps light to dim. i was testing it and every few minutes it dims thne goes bright from reddish to bright white.. is it normal?? here are sum pics of my set up and what i got going I Have 1000 watt lights, 6 inch intake fan and filter 12 2 gallon ebb and grow system wit 55 gallon resvoir. 16" in Fan ph kit. im using a 6.5x6.5x6.5 grow tent. im growin 6 og and 6 bubba for medicinal purpose ( had a broken Back) im using hydroton. and bc nutrients any suggestions of what i might need? and whats the yield i might be croping? I apreciate all ur help if u see something i might need or wrong let me know thanks for youre help...

nice setup , never grew them strains so don t know about them but your light should not be diming what so ever...

Your HPS shouldn't do that, 1K light can blow right in your face don't fuck around AND a 1K light can melt down and take your hood out with it. It can take other things near it up with it and cause a fire. Are you running an extension cord? What do we know about the circuit, I am not an electrician but I learned what I had to know.

Like flicker at an incredibly high rate of speed, yeah my magnetic I think I can see the 60hz shit, but yellow/blue is the bulb or the ballast, or simply the power source. You need to ask someone only half as high as me and who knows twice as much.

Your setup is nice but yield is specific from strain to strain.. The idea is to learn your strain to know how to pimp it with your equipment, what I mean is some plants you will just do a 3 week veg and lolipop it, others you will bring it to 12-16 inches and chop leafs, bend it up LIKE GREEN CRACK OMG lol, others you will just bring to 12 inches and roll them close together.. Just maddening amount of information has to be learned/relayed to the person you can't really get that info from others. Another thing is metabolism is highly dependent on your experience, it can take some people 10 years to figure out you should not run certain strains past 75F without c02 probably some people just don't get it ever, other strains you can you gotta watch them. You just gotta watch them and learn but don't screw with them, read the forums and get to work. I grow Aero NFT but to be quite honest you have a rockin system for sure, if I had those I would want to grow trees with them but I only have 2600w so not enough for that many trees lol

When mine starts up it goes from yellow to blue for a second or two then solid yellow from then on I just watched. I don't remember the blue in the beginning of mine but i smoke a lot of the green stuff
