HELP! 5 Do's and 5 donts for my first basic closet grow

Don't: Go three weeks without feeding, then come on here asking why the leaves are turning yellow and falling off from the bottom up. Weird thread title btw

just want some advice from other growers... maybe lighting, setup***... should i put a fan in there? what kinda soil, nutrients? how high should the light be from the plant...

here are some basic tips

soil: fox farms
intake fan outake fan fan blowing on plants: 3 fans
lights blue spectrum for veg red for bud 4 in. away from plant. (if using cfls)
nutes: fox farm trio
