Posted this in the outdoor grow section also, then found the hospital section.......sorry not trying to flood the board just desperate to solve this.

Hi guys, been lurking here for awhile but today found a need to create a post. I just returned from visiting a friends beautiful garden. He called me to come look at it as he has some issues. Everything is 4-5ft tall and up until a week ago was looking awesome. Well he has alot of new growth coming out now but it is all curled up and appears to look shrivelled like a raisin. This is happening on 6-8 plants. Also he has a 6-8 others that have all the leaves drooped right flat. These plants appear to be dying very fast. Here is some insight......
we are getting alot of rain.....
he is feeding 20-20-20.....he tells me he pours a concentrate blend mix with water. About 4 scoops in roughly 3-4L of water. My thoughts are this is what is causing some of the plants to droop, I think he's burning the roots. But I do not know what the shrivelled up plants is being caused by. Any insight would be gretly appreciated. If I can I will try to get pics in the next couple of days. So my question is what has he done and how can we fix this? I dont believe there is a bug problem and i dont see any burning on the leaves. We're afraid he's gonna lose them all.

personally if I didnt have the info for my friend off the top of my head I would tell him to sign up himself at RIU.....and where are the pics of your buddy's plants? my advice....dont bother yourself with his plant issues. go grow your own...unless of course they are your own. :blsmoke:

........thanks! he's an older fella and doesnt have a PC. I've offered him my thoughts already. I'm just looking for some "helpful" advice from those in the know. For some of us helping others isnt a nuisance, and yes I already have my own, and they're doing just fine.

Sounds like it might be too much fertilizer.Flush them good with plain water and don't add any ferts for a couple of weeks just water.
