HELP/ADVICE NEEDED ASAP....... New growths from buds in last week of flowering.......

My girls in in the flush stage of flowering but over the last few days i have noticed new growths sprouting from the bud formations.... i believe the condition is known as "carrot topping" whereby the plants have received light during the night-time dark period... the new growths look airy and only have singular rounded leaves growing from them..... as i dont want the buds which have already formed (and look very well) to start changing into the same as the new growths, i am looking to crop the plants in a week at most anyway and just want to complete the flush.... can anyone advise me as to what they think the best course of action is from here (eg. should the new growths be cropped off asap??) ......any advice/help would be vastly appreciated as i'v spent a lot of time and effort on my babies.... thanks in advance

it's actually called "fox-tailing" and it happens when temps are warm. drop the temp as low as u can. or remove a few leaves that will stress her and slow down the new growth. GL

that's a personal preference if the foxtailing bothers you, or the medicine is destined for resale then you can nip them off however they will shrink after curing and most likely look more normal to you dried then they do fresh. I had similar situation happen with the cheese candy strain, my temperature probes was hidden by some fan leaves which it wasn't very accurate and controlling the temperature. They smoke just fine. I would be more concerned with the entire flowering phase being too warm because then you get fluffy Airy buds that burn way to fast. But in the end it all comes down to you. happy harvest brother burn one for me

Yes buy a reliable timer and seal the room from outside light. Too late now they have re-vegged your going to get fluffy airy light buds
