Help, are my seeds dead?

Hi everyone, well I germinated some seeds I bought on the 1st of June. By the third they had their tails poking out so I planted them 1/4 inch deep in 16 oz Dixie cups. Since I was getting worried I poked through the soil and found the seed very dry but still fat and green. I put it back in and sprayed the soil with rain water. Just to moisten it. There under cool white flourescents. I don't know if they have died or not. Do you think they will ever sprout? I know it's been I my three days but I don't see any root progress at all. Help please.

Yeah they will grow. Mine took almost a week from being germinated to actually shoot up from the ground. Just make sure the seeds aren't too deep and don't dig around in the cups. They won't like that.

Nope they haven't sprouted. I'm using the sticky topic method. Instead of the humidity dome I guess I'll keep the top soil moist which I didn't do cuz I thought it would rot the seeds. If it took yours a week maybe mine will grow to hopefully.

Just be patient mate.

One of them has been over a week and still not sprouted but I think it will do. It's just it got very moist and isn't drying out enough so I have stuck it somewhere very warm and dug some soil off the top (careful not to touch the seed itself or disturb it) because it was too deep I think. I am sure it will grow though. No reason for it not to.

All the best with your seeds. They will grow as they've already germinated.

Thanks a lot man. I'll post a pic right now, it's not my grow area but rather my sprouting area lol
