Help, Can I use this extension cord for my 600 watt light setup

Hey guys, First off, thank you for trying to help me out.

Okay, so I need an extension cord in order to get my grow light where I need it. My question to you is: I am using 120 outlet and running the 600 watt light on it. From my understanding, the light will use 5 amps (600watts/120outlet). The extension cord is 15 amps and supports up to 1575 watts. I am planning to run my light, inline fan along with another fan. So, anywho, is this the type of extension cord I need for my setup?

How long a run will it be? Even 100 ft. shouldn't be too much for ~10amp draw and complete security, wiring wise. A lot depends upon what is on the same circuit ?

Depends on the run. Honestly if this home grow. And it was 25 plus foot run. I would just make an extension cord. With Mclite lite armoured cable. And outlet.

I am safety freak. Ballast have initial large inrush current.

Rigid good extension cords.
