HELP! Can you use fresh non flushed plant trim for edibles?

Believe it or not, i always strip my male plants and make butter from them. Just yesterday even, made some Anzac biscuits. Maybe 300g worth of wet material used.
While not nearly as potent, it still gets you baked. 1 or 2 cookies is probably like having 3 rips on a bong. Just takes 1 or 2 cookies, instead of a 1/4 or 1/2.

It's potent enough, that for the last couple years, all sugar leaf and trim goes to hash. Any leaf goes to butter, even the shade leaves.

Edit: fresh leaf is fine too, no problem.

So if I have a ton of left over fan leaves from veg state like 10 ounces maybe how much should I put in one pound of butter for it to be decently potent?

When your plant has matured, and has been harvested, all the plant material will be good to use. Anything taken from the plant before maturity can be thrown into compost.

Why wouldn't time just from cutting the plants in general work like what aus was sayin?

I don't think it would hurt. Take a few goes at it, to get the potency right for you anyway.

I always sight it myself and honestly, 300g of wet leaf was likely an overestimation. Gave me a bit over a block of butter, 2 dozen + cookies worth.

Only downside for some people really, is the strong taste, it's not for everyone. But i like the taste and regardless Anzac biscuit masks it really well.

Edit: lol i've tried savoury a few times too, goes really well in a chicken pesto pasta. Use the butter instead of oil, to fry the chicken etc. Suits the flavor really well.

So? A fisherman spends money on his lures... Every shooter has that box of holsters they never use for whatever reason... Gear heads spend money putting a supercharger on a car... It's all about the experience. If you had a good time, maybe learned something with whatever hobby it may be then it was money well spent IMO. We can't take the money with us.

Looks like you are making something more complicated than it is.

All you need to make dank weed butter is weed or trim, butter, water and a vessel to simmer it in. I like crock pots.
