Help! Clones showing strange discoloration

Hello all. I'm not exactly a rookie grower, but I'm just getting back on the horse and it almost seems new again. Regardless, in my limited experience I have yet to come across this.

I came home from work to check my babies and was happy when I checked the temp/humidity in my dome, but displeased when I inspected the clones. This is what I saw. I am growing two strains, and a few of each are showing these symptoms. They are 2 1/2 days old from cut. Everything was sterilized while cutting. They were dipped in clonex and stuck into solo cups filled with a presoaked (moist) mix of 50/50 light soil to perlite. They have been in a humidity dome on a seedling mat. Their environment has been between 70-85 F and 70%-95% RH. Crack the lid twice day for 10 minutes, then I mist the lid and close it up. This has been the first problem I have encountered.

i wouldn't worry it looks like were you chopped the cutting wait for new growth and see if its same or looks ok and normal if it looks the same and outhers seem ok maybe its just that cutting

It's on about 5 out of 10 of them. They went from nice green with no spots to having spots and leaf curl like that during my 10 hour shift at work.

Any one else care to indulge me?

Transplant them out of those clear cups ASAP.

I hear you on that, but here's my theory derived from my dad's old school habits. Although roots obviously hate light by the time I see roots in a container this large the clones are well rooted and ready for transplant. There isn't any light getting through that soil all the way to cuttings stem. The light won't hit the root until it's made it to the outside of the cup, and my diligent eye will spot and transplant it immediately. I am well aware that it is unconventional, when my father first suggested it we argued. I saw his logic and gave it a try. I have never had any problems.

Does anyone have something more to say about the dark spots and leaf curl that had suddenly popped up?

I hit the three day mark since I cut them, so I removed the humidity dome. I've read some people keep it on the whole time and some people take it off as early as one day after cut. Any insight on this dilemma?

I'm at a loss with the spots. Just wait and see if it continues to the new growth.

That's what I was thinking. I hope the waiting pays off.

I just put the dome back on after just one hour. The got pretty droopy. I'll ease them into it.

I get spots like this when I dont clean my cloning trays every run of clones. If I dont clean for like 3-4 runs of clones it gets really bad andthe success rate starts ti go down.
II'm not sure exactly what causes it,ive always just assumed some kind of bacteria/fungus does it.

I would have to agree with everyone else, since they are not rooted yet I would not be that concerned just yet. If the problem continues after you have roots and its growing I would lean toward what caveman117 said and personally I would get a hold of some SM-90 and mist them with a very weak solution as a foliage spray and clean the dome and all as well. I have had clones look sick as shit before roots took allot worse then what I am seeing here and once they started growing everything straightened out ...
