help flooded outdoor

my plants are outdoors in the ground and its been raining for three days and there reeally feeling it. There about 4 weeks into flower and usually flower for 12 weeks, if i add peat moss around the sides of the roots and on top will that help? or any other sugestions

they survived all is good
but the buds taste earthy not a bad thing

If its growing in a flat land,just use a tarp or thick pastic,on the dirt,so no water soaks that area.
