help for when to start veg light cycle

i was curious when i should start my light cycle for my veg stage i have two plants growing in my closet i started to germ them on 01/21/13 and then the 24 that morning had the two first leaves is that when i wait two weeks to start the cycle or do i start the two week wait as soon as i planted them from germ stage which was the 23 ive read you wait two weeks before you start to turn off your lights for certains hours so far they have been on my little sprouts 24hrs aday since planted im not new to growing i am new to growing indoors though so all the help i can get pls and thanks oh and would would a 18/6 be a good light cycle when i do start my vegging???

From seed there usually is a 2 week time period before you put into final medium. Then I veg for 4 weeks or more from that point. But, its all up to you. You can veg for more or less depending on if you want a small plant with not much yield or a large plant with tons of buds.

put them in good potting contianer with good potting mix then wait for them to get about18 1nches and then switch light that will give you about a 24-30 inch plant when done with a good amout of bud if thats to big start flowering about 12 inches tall will finish about18-24 inches. i like 18 inches so i can take clones then flower im cheap and dont like to keep buying seeds

Why are you telling the OP that his plant will only grow a third to two thirds the veg height when he flips?
It should at least double in size.
