Help From Lighting and/or strain experts ??

I need help, im starting a grow box and its about 3 feet tall, i hear that i can grow indicas and maybe even northern lights in here. i was thinking what happens when it grows taller and the light (1600 lumens enough for one? cfl, soft white?) cant get to the lower areas and the underbottom of plant, is this going to be succesful?
what is the best strain for me in this conditions? im looking to grow only ONE small plant, no clones. ill purchase around 5 feminised seeds.
Please Help!

you cant grow a plant with just 1 CFL. I have 5 CFLs and 1 flouro- I have been stuck in veg for 6 weeks so far and I will need to stay in it for a little longer. Heres a tip- use the sunlight whenever possible. The sun is the most powerful energy source over anything you will find at any store. I have been putting my plants outside for a few hours every day and it has dramatically improved its growth. you should go with a Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium if you can. they will make your plants grow extremely fast.

im in a similar situation i turned an old mini fridge into a grow box. i use 8 x 26w 6500k CFL's on 4 plants for veg. i plan on getting a sunsystem mini 150 hps today. does anyone know if this light puts off a substantial amount of heat?

150hps will amitt a little heat but it i easy to overcome use a metal jis saw blade and cut a hole on one side of the fridge the buy a small compact fan put this face the hole and this will cool things down .it might be a good idea a friend had the exact same set upcut a hole in the other side to let the air out put some dryer tubeing on the oppersite side of the fan,if not your plants will be blown all over the place.but belive me this will make all the differance you can even box you fan in builed a wooden box that goes over the fan and fits snug up to fridge .just a little question here guys how much you expecting to get when you have dried the herb you will be lucky if you get harf ounce.perhaps you may have been better going for autos.it kills me to say it because i hate these plants but thats what you need to be looking at dwarf auto ak47.

i have 3 ft. of vertical grow space minus the height of the pots im using which i think are 8 in. pots and the height of 150 hps. so you dont think i would get over half ounce per plant? i can fit 4 - 6 8 in. pots in my box. what if i lst them? and i was actually thinking of extending the roof up far enough to fit the 150 hps to where i can actually have the full 28 in of grow space? what do you yall think?

and whats wrong with autoflowers? i was looking into the joint doctors diesel ryder in case i couldnt lst my plants. but i was really wanting to get violator kush, lsd, cheese, and blueberry skunk seeds. would i be able to grow these in my box?
