JUST REPOTTED MY BABIES YESTERDAY. I HAVE 11. IN A GROW TENT 4FT X 8FT. I HAVE JUST PUT 6" EXTRACTOR WITH CARBON FILTER. ALSO A 6" INTAKE FAN. THE INTAKE DONT FEEL LIKE MUCH AIR BEEN PUMPED IN. I HAVE 1 600W HPS ON AT MOMENT AND A 125W CFL. AND A 12" OSCOLATING FAN. CHECKED THIS MORNING AND THE TEMP WAS 94 C. WHAT IS WORRYING AND 2 OF MY PLANTS HAVE WILTED AND FLOPPED. HUMIDITY ALSO DROPPED TO 34%. SO PUT A BOWL OF ICE IN THERE AND OPENED ALL THE VENTS. TEMP HAS NOW REDUCED TO 84 C. PROPED UP THE 2 THAT HAVE FLOPPED. AND GOING TOMORROW TO REDOW THE INTAKE FAN..

ALL INFO MUCH APPRICIATED AND I WILL ALSO TRY AND TAKE SOME PICS

Stop using the intake fan. It is not necessary. You simply leave the appropriate sized holes ( in your case 2-6" intake holes or 1-8" hole instead of a 6"hole with an intake fan) open to allow the extractor fan to be passively fed. You will defeat the negative air pressure effect that is required for odor elimination by using an intake blower. Even though 1-6" vent is almost enough for the lighting configuration you mentioned (you would need a little more than the 6" extractor because of the static pressure drop of the carbon filter (i.e. less suction), the small size of the tent and the 125w cfl ( my calculation for venting is 1-6" extractor/carbon filter per 600w in an 8' x 8' x 8' room or 1-8" combo for 2-600's).
If your intake fan is a centrifugal inline type you are already halfway to setting up another 6" fan/filter combo. This is what you need. For now, if it is at all possible, try to keep the tent open to alleviate the heat.

As far as I know intakes are really for growspaces the size of a room, to help make a good airflow, so I agree with problemsolver.

I have a 125w CfL aswell, it does add to the heat issues so consider removing the CFL from the grow space. You might loose 3-4degrees in temp.

Your a real character arnt you?

Make sure the intake is below 80 or its doing nothing, the little exhaust blower is doing nothing in this heat so get a centrifugal fan to remove the hot air much quicker, most important -get a cooltube and use the little fans with to cool that, all hot air should be removed from surrounding area (main room) with the cent fan and ducting.
A cheap way is just leave the door open(for this time of year) and blow a fan on high from outside in.
