help growing with rockwool!

I am so lost with rockwool, so far this is what i have done, i took seeds and had them in water overnight. than i transplant them in rock wool which also have been soaked overnight inside a bowl and saran wrap on top with a few holes for air. and i have them on top of a monitor. will they grow? or is it better to have it by the window? and get light from sun?

You should read some in the FAQ section. Briefly, soak the seeds overnight then put them in a folded paper towel that is damp and in a warm dark place. Keep the towel damp. They will pop a sprout in a couple days. That is when you put them in the rockwool which should be soaked well but then shaken to so it isn't sopping wet. They don't need light until you see green. I'd get them out of the rockwool (unless they have popped) and do this now.
