Help help help!!!!! crown/collar rot!!!

I have a sativa in hydro with crown rot or collar rot whichever name you prefer. I dont know much about it or that I have the proper diagnosis but heres a picture - Please if anyone knows anything about treating it, or if it spreads and i need to get it out asap or any relevant info please help!!!!!!!!
