Help, how do i get my seeds to germ...

I bought 10 purple ryder seeds and i put them in a wet paper towel last night and stuck them in a snuff can... normally i get seeds to germ in less than a day this way. any suggestions, my beans aren't sprouting yet!

One day is no big deal, I've had some take 3 days to pop, on average 24-36 hours.

ok thanks for the info... i put the seeds in some of those little coco seed starting things from burpee.... its like a little mini bag of coco with a thin skin to hold it all together... they swell up and hold moisture really well. I put the seeds in there and then put it in my grow cabinet with 4 of the 8 t5 lamps on. i will leave it in there for a couple days and see if they sprout. i am really anxious to get my first grow started.... i have been working up to this day for a few weeks now... getting all my seeds, lights, building the cabinet.... i really hope it works out well!

use a bandana instead of a paper towel...why you ask. the roots will grow into the fibers of the paper towel not the bandana. i use a ziploc bag to put the bandana and the seeds in...use ro water...good to go.
