Help! i don't know what to do. this is complicated.

Ok guys I got some work for ya, I have only grown weed once and I was 13. I grew it behind my house in the woods. It did terrific! I made it to about almost to the flowering satge and I heard about 50 helicopters flying over them. I freaked out ran in the middle of the night pulled em out and trashed them! lol next day I find out the navy base in myrtle beach was having a hurricane so the navy sent all the helicopters to Atlanta GA so they would not get damaged. I threw away about three 5ft and half plants for nothing. Lol! True story I’m a total dip shit, I know. Anyway about a 5 days ago I walked past my apartment to walk my dog and I notice 2 ,two week old plants growing from up under some rocks. I looked around no one saw me, I picked them and brought them inside and started taking care of them. Now the area I picked them was shitty soil at best, crappy water supply and terrific sun though. I mean right out in the open! Plain view! The leaves where already yellowish, and I don’t remember if the bottom leafs where dead yet. When I picked them there roots where close to none. I found some dirt outside stuck them in a really small jar and said I’ll worry about them later. I water them to by the way. Now the problem is I have been researching this site and every site out there and I can’t tell if they are overwater or over fertilized now that I have added the notoriously bad soil Miracle Gro organic choice, I found my wife had laying around. Opps! So now my leafs at getting greener but I think they have the nute burn leafs as well. The entire leafs on bottom are dead for sure with the expectation of 1 leaf that’s yellow as can be. Now that’s just the soil now the lighting. I didn’t want my wife to find out I had them so I hind them. Opps#2!! Within 20min she did. I told her they are tomato plants. lol opps #94! So we brought them into the house and I used a 10w florescent bulb from an aquarium I used to run. I KNOW I’M GROWIN WEED NOT FISH! It was just till I could get supplies. Two days later. Now I have 1 24w florescent bulbs in there. Which I got from a lamp somewhere.
Question 1
I’m Going to the home depot to get supplies tonight. I was thinking of having 3 24w florescent bulbs or 1 metal halide 400w with maybe a 24 florescent that I already have. Which set up would be best with me not having to worry to much about helicopters and some marijuana police force catching me while being able to actually grow it as well.

Question 2 the yellowish tent in the leafs I have been looking at them so much I can’t tell if the are getting better or worse because my cam sucks. Should I change dirt to the legendary FF soil. Or leave them in there. Also I do not plan to ever add any nutrients to this stuff. I ‘m also worried that this organic shit has to high or low ph which could cause the no nutrient absorption at all. Now I’m look-in for a hobby…. not weed that’s so strong I can’t even wipe my ass when the in laws around. The reason I’m doing this is because it brings back good memories as a kid which not frequent, you know when shit was easy. I want some medium grade weed because I haven’t smoked since high school which has been about 9-10 years.

Question 3 I don’t think I’m over watering but should I fill up the bottom water holder compartment and should I cut off the dead leafs or leave them. The temp right now is 74.

Question 4 my lighting has changed often I know, I’m sorry. What should it be the 18/6 or the 24/7. I will do flowering stage at 12/12 I just bought a timer.

Question 5 what to do next? Any advice. I know some of you will say throw it away start over but I have no dealer to go to. If these to die I’m fucked, and I’m not buying seeds through the mail or anywhere I have a great career.

Question 6 am I doing to much to quick or am I saving it from near death.at this point there isn't any growth at all.

mh is best but you can use cfl's. I use 2-100w for veg most the time. The leaf thas bad will stay bad. look at new growth to judge if it's getting better. do what ever you like with light . I do 24/7 myself. good luck.
