HELP!!! I need some other opinions from other growers.

Ok so, my intro. I planted 4 bagseeds, in a 6" glass pot filled with good potting soil (unaware as to what brand). my planting method was just stick the pencil in half way and toss the seeds in. I watered them and put them outside. on day 1 of planting, brought them in at night. put them outside around 6am next day. and repeated doing so till day 7 i got my first sprout. continued with my methods, next day another sprout. both of these were cared for the same way, and it is now day 10, i can post some pics now,i have noticed feeling in the soil to see if it was dry enough to need some watering. and came across another sprout. and covered it back with soil, now its night and i can see this sprout making its way to break the surface , this is what they look as 9:43 pm 3/28/2013. this is my first grow. just wanting some advice on if im doing this right, how they are looking so far, i am ready to answer questions, so please ask away. i would really appreciate ur guys opinions and concerns. thanks guys hope to hear from you soon

Everything looks fine. Don't killed them with kindness and transplant one of those twins into its own pot soon....g/l

1 plant per pot. get them seperated now

looks fine, if you want them to get bigger you will need a larger container and I would separate them asap.
They look like the are only a couple of days above soil not ten days.

well im hoping to get these transplanted into the ground after they get a little more developed, but idk this is my very first grow. is it absolutely necessary to have 1 plant per pot ???

at diet coke, if you would have read my whole post from beginning to end you would know that they are not ten days above soil. i said the first sprouted on day 7 and currently it is day 11, today is 4 days that they have been above soil. and why would i google how to grow, when im obviously already growing. thats why im on here making threads, to get advice and opinions.

If you do not separate them now you will essentially have 1 plant with separate trunks from the intertwined roots. This makes is unwieldy and almost impossible to easily transplant as they grow. Yes, water, take a spoon and very carefully scoop them to their own pots. Even small dixie cups (what I start seeds in) work well for a short time.

I have heard of some of the advanced cultivators who put more than 1 in a pot but they have very specific reasons for doing this. So for all us newbies it's one plant per pot.

all the roots will grow together then one will end up being a male then you wont be able to safely sepperate them but you will try by just cutting the male then you will have root rot and kill them all... this is one of the most basic things you need to do some research there is plenty of info out there get at it

any advice on separating them, my friend tried transplanting, some plants and they died on him. im afraid that if i try i will have the same luck. so your telling me that the roots are what determine the sex of the plant?

No genetics determine the sex of a plant.
He means the roots will inter-wind and if one of your plants is a male it will be hard to separate it from your females.
This happened to me during an outdoor grow. I cut the male at the stock but you have to keep an eye on it coming back.
As Tussle said before one plant one pot.
Don't worry about killing bagseed sprouts, the seeds were free and you can plant more. Besides sprouts are pretty durable, just take care not to expose roots to light.
I would not wait not separate them, or you run a greater risk of killing them all.

They look really good, but separate the plants or the roots will get messed up.

Get the entire existing rootball out of the pot with two plants and then split the rootball and replant them separately

No what they are saying is that if you leave them together long enough the roots will intertwine and grow together essentially causing one plant with numerous stems. Each plant will still have its individual sex (that is in its makeup already but stress factors can make a female go male as well) and if by chance one is a male you won't be able to remove it so the females don't get pollinated causing your crop to seed/reproduce. If your females produce seeds they are putting the energy into creating them and not the buds which equals a lower THC level. this is what they look like as of 9:25am 3/29/2013, so do i need to transplant them to each separate cups, i have clear plastic cups, the same size as red solo beer cups.? will that suffice as to meeting their needs? I planted all my seeds so i dont have anymore.

with that result so fare I might reconsider the reading/research on how to grow weed once more, you can never learn to much and it will be much more easy to get good advice, ask right questions and actually understand the advice people give you and follow them even if it was`t the answer you where looking for, I hope you don't expect to get much smoke out of it if any

Clear isn't great so cover the pot with tape or put in a simple solo cup. Then as I said before with moist soil, take a spoon and hold one cotyledon and scoop the soil surrounding the seedling and it's tiny root ball and move it to it's own pot. Then cover it with more soil. Do not touch the roots. Do not expose the roots. Make sure the cups you are putting these in have holes for drainage.

Clear cup aren't good the roots will be exposed to light

Slipon, i believe that reply was very ignorant on your part. how does me having to research growing once more relate to me getting good advice? or asking the right questions. i was just looking for some friendly tips of advice. Maybe if you wouldve took the time to read my intro, you would know that im not going into this all professional, means of making a living, turning this into my career type of grow. this is my first grow. all i did was bought an oz, sorted out some nice healthy looking seeds and decided to plant them the original way. oh and yeah i was expecting to get at least a few pounds out of 4 seeds (sarcasm, if you couldnt tell), so how about you hop your two cents out of here if your just going to act like a bitch. is there any way of deleting replies off here.
