Precisely because you grow organic. Believe me my hat's off to you! I'm not that smart to be able to grow organic. But i'm a shitty grower with a fuckton of experience so I can say, without equivocation, that's salt LOL.IDK I don't deal with salt build up I grow organic but to me it looks to be hair like and starting to grow up outside pot at left top of hole

well I’m glad I’m hearing from 2 different sides. Honestly i don’t see it on any other hole just that one and it started small and got bigger at the spot. Like I said my plant was growing slow but last week she’s been growing completely opposite of how it did the first 2 months of her life. Some fan leaves have some discoloration on the ends but only some. Since my girl doesn’t seem to be unhealthy I’m just gonna let it ride. I don’t understand the whole bad fungus and beneficial fungus ordeal. But if it is fungus I hope it’s the beneficial . And if it is salt I’m not even gonna flush since y’all said u can’t flush soil. So I’ll let that ride too
If she doesn't look unhappy keep doing................ soon you'll harvest
