help! leaves yellowing! PPM too low with Lucas Formula. How can I raise it?

This is my first time using the aeroponic system. In the third week of the blooming phase, my leaves started yellowing. Assuming this meant the nitrogen was low, I started looking for a solution. That’s when I found the Lucas formula and thought it looked like he really knew what he was talking about.



My PPM is between 700-840 @.7 conversion. I’m in Europe and am not sure I’m doing it correctly. I’m using a water filtering process we call “osmose”. This means the water goes in at EC .06 and comes out at .00. I am not sure if the chemicals are the same here. I have Flora Micro NPK 5-0-1, Flora Gro NPK 3-1-7 and Flora Bloom NPK 0-5-4. I’ve used the formula of 0-8-6. Since we don’t use gallons here, I converted my 40L of filtered water and came up with 10.5 gallons. That meant I added 0-84.5-169. What do I need to do to get my PPM up to the proper level?

Ur ppm is to high for the young girls for one, and it looks like a cal/mag issue, do u treat the water b4 u use it? Or just add nutes and use? But ur ppm is mos def not low for this stage of growth, u might want to rasie the ppm round week 6, but ur fine now! And in a areo system, less is more, u might b overfeeding as well

I thought the Lucas Formula said my PPM should be around 1300. I filter the water before adding the nutes.


TDS @ 0.7 conversion:
0-4-8 = 663 ppm
0-5-10 = 829 ppm
0-8-16 = 1326 ppm

Who cares what lucas told u! ur ppm is is to high, and. If u put those girls @ 1300, I'm pretty sure u might burn them, aero is diffrent than soil feeding, even ur ipa system is more effective @ getting. Nutes to the plant, that u don't need that high of a ppm, like I said, I think u have a ph issue, or a cal/mag issue

What do you think it should it be? He also said you don't have to measure the PH if you use RO. Not sure if RO is the same process as my filtering one. Do you know?

There ur problem is, RO water is stripped of everything, u need to add a cal/mag mix to ur water b4 u add the nutes, I use technaflora cal/mag, I think lucas is smoking crack, u always check ur ph and ppm, everyday u check it, cause it might change, forget everything lucuas said!
