Help long stems?

First grow and I don't know if these are too long or not. I have a 600 watt light coming Wednesday but until then how do I correct the problem right now if they are too long? This is the first week being up, they are planted in rapid rooters.

If you have a way to put a CFL bulb over them, very close to them, it will help. 24 hours of light will also help.
 
Can you buy one of those from Wal-Mart or Lowes? I'm having no luck getting things shipped in its taking weeks
 
So I'm doing a hydro grow and I originally bought 2inch net pots do you think that's enough or should I go with something bigger? Slightly worried the rooter is as big as the pot so I'm not sure the 2 inch will let me bury any deeper. Have you ever used straws to support when they're leggy like this?
