HELP! Major droop in DWC

I have a plant 3 1/2/ weeks old in dwc using fox farm nutrients at 3/4 strength and a ph average of around 5.8-6
Looked this morning and plant was really droopy and fading fast. Its on the same as the other p[lants in the room and they look fine.
I lowered the hut level down to about half and added some fresh water that was ph balanced, added through the hydroton for a rinse. water level is just below the basket.
There are three air stones running because previous I had one plant get root rot. I am attaching a pic of both plant and roots.

PLEASE anyone, any suggestions?

Thats odd... it seems like over-nuting, but that should effect all your plants.. not just one.. can you put up a pic of your other plants?

if the water level is just below the netcups then that's too high. you are overwatering your plants. drop the water level to like 2 inches below the pots and i can guarantee the plant will recover within the hour

overwatering in dwc???? isn't that an oxymoron?? when my plants are this small, i always have my water level up to the net pots with no issues. i guess he could lower the water level to see if that helps, but i don't know if i would guarantee that it will. the plant looks healthy enough and the roots look good. i had my plants wilt like that once, but extremely high temps were the culprit in my case.

btw....the plant looks really good to be 3 1/2 weeks!! is this from seed or from clone? i need to get my hands on some chem dog beans. that's some of the best smoke i've ever had! hope you recover from whatever's ailing you.

Heres a pic of Blue Dream the other strain I am groing, this one is the same age, a little over 3 weeks, simply an amazing plant Easy to grow, just started cloning so I will let you guys know how it goes. Both were purchased from Harborside in Oakland CA under prop 215.

They are suppose to be the mothers for a 60 plant grow site and I cant seem to get Chem Dawg up to par.

I would assume heat stress would cause Chem Dawg to wilt like this, but they are under cool flourescent bulbs and temp rarely goes above 75 degrees if ever.

So what do I do, lower the water level? Just did but I am still baffled, and it came on over night.

you can overwater in any system DWC or not . id drop the water level like said and wait the hour . good luck

looks to me like you need to get more oxygen to your roots!!!! i dont see any nuteburn....

To me it looks like over-watering or a heat issue. But you said temp rarely gets high and you have stones oxygenating the water... Hmm... maybe salt buildup? causing a nut. lockout?

just because you can see air bubbles in your rez doesnt mean you have the right amount of oxygen in the rez

my airstones suck, so I put in 2-3 per bucket. The plants get 6 hours of darkness, I will check em in their morning. Lowered the water level 4 inches below basked only a few rotts are in it and they are draped over an airstone. Also water the nutes down. I gues dont even go close to the fox farm feeding schedule they have, it must be WAY to much. I let ya know what happens to her in a few hours

res temp is less about the same as the air temp, they are well venitlated and get night time california air so they dont ever get too hot

this is what i found out last nite in one of my buckets. i use a two valve aquarium air pump and one of the valves is obviously bad because there were few bubbles coming out of my stone. i switched to the other one and voila! bubbles were everywhere. my plant was wilting some but not as much as original poster. good luck finding the problem.

The Plant looks worse today, she has been basically sitting in an empty bucket getting clean water splashed on her every hour.... still no sign of life.

Sounds like temp.. Your res is at 72F correct? PH is between 5.8-6.2? Add some h2o2 to help with oxygen as well, as well as keeping it clean. my .02

You cant over water in a deep water culture system. I don’t know who out there is releasing such ridiculous information.

Your problem is that your roots zone is not getting enough oxygen. I noticed also that in some buckets like you have, the humidity in the bucket (and root zone) rises overnight while the lights are out, causing the roots from getting appropriate levels of oxygen. I am not saying this is your problem, but it defiantly seems to be caused by root problems. Your plants are suffocating.
