Help me get out the germinating stage....

The sprout has came out the seed and I planted it...do I leave it in the dark til it sprouts out the dirt,or do I start the 18hrs of light????HELP ME OUT...tryna get my veggies up and growing......please help

Right he is... also I wouldn't use a HID right away, not that it will hurt them but it is a waste of electricity if they are still not out of the soil.

well depends if your growing indoors keep constant light on it, but if your growing outdoors you can put it in a place that gets very good sun. personaly i ike outdoors and thats what i do and its my 3rd year growing and never had any major issues

Do I cover them...or leave'em out
