Help! Mold or hair??? drying bud

i just put my plant that was drying into a jar to cure, been frying for about a week and the stems snap. i checked the buds under a 30x scope. most of the nugs have hairs on them, not marijuana pistil hairs, hairs stuck to the nug: human? synthetic fiber? mold?!?! this is where im at


the plant was grown in a closet with carpet (maybe synthetic)? it was a walk-in bedroom closet so my roommate and i did use it frequently (maybe human)? the nugs were just drying on like a baking rack, in a fish tub cover off (clean duh) <restaurant ppl know what that is.. ill post some pictures of nugs/set-up

Well, have you secured your grow? do you have any pets? are the doors of the area where you are growing open? do you have screens (such as a panty hose) over your ventilation intakes? (This is good practice btw)

Try taking samples of the hairs with a pair of tweezers, pull it apart! is it stretchy (then it most probably is synthetic, or human / animal hair) or does it snap immediately as you pull (then it's prolly organic in nature) ?

If you can get some microscope pics, that would be helpful.

kinda hard to see the pics in the scope, it was hard to line up my phone camera and the 30x ...

it doesnt smell musty/moldy or anything...

i dont really think i have anything to worry about, i was stoned and sleepy when i made this thread lol
