Help Mother Plant Dying

I have a 4-5 foot tall mother plant that in transport some of the roots tore. I went to the hydro store and they sold me root rebuilder and I transplanted it without disturbing the remaining roots. Today it is really wilting and looks like it is dying and fees real moist I only gave it a little water with the root rebuilder since I had watered it 2 days before.

This is my first mother plant and I am not sure what to do I have it sitting outside under shade hoping it will dry out a little bit. Is there anything else I can do???? Please help me!

when you remove roots you have to balance out the amount of top growth so the remaining roots don't have to support so much canopy. cut your plant back by 1/3 and see if that doesn't help it along.

I cut about 1/3 leaves off they were drying out and turning black that is how I found the root problem. It is completely limp and wilting right now. I am attaching pics of plant to see.IMAG0389.jpgIMAG0390.jpg

not as bad as i had envisioned. cut back your plant by a third. the cut back top growth will be easier to support by the remaining roots. those big fan leaves on top will not rehydrate. they will dry up. the reason is the plant is in survival mode now. and all those leaves will not survive the root surgery it has endured. this is a valuable lesson for you. i don't think your plant is going to die. but it needs to regenerate ROOTS before it can regenerate leaves. okee dokee?

Put your plant under some really good lighting..it'll take a week or two, but will recover. In my experience, if your plant didn't die within the first 24 hours, you still have a chance to save her.
