My plant is about 4 weeks into flowering and all of the sudden its wilting. I water it every 3 days or so and i fertilize it every 2 weeks. I dont know wat the problem is. I have a really tight budget so i use two 42 watt cfl's and a 2 foot fluorescent fixture of 40 watts. The cfl's are warm white and the fluorescent is cool white and idk if that could be the problem. Im thinking that i have to raise the lights or sumthin cuz the plant is getting kinda close to them, about 2 inches. Does any1 have any idea wats rong?

you want the plants link an inch or 2 from the cfl's. they produce almost no heat and wont hurt the plant. because the lumens fade so quickly with cfl's to be useful they should be close. as for the wilting, sounds like over watering. over watering looks just like under watering. the root ball needs to be dried out well so rotting doesnt take place. if u can get a pic up that would be great. the soil should be dry and cracking, dont worry she will tell you when she wants water, its better to under than over water them.

I see. i dont think its overwatering tho, i've given her ample time to absorb all the water she's using. Do u think i might not be using ENOUGH water cuz the pot is kinda big and the bottom of the pot is always dry, no water really comes out

yes, in order for the roots to grow through the soil it has to be wet, you dont just want the water concentrated the first three inches, your plant won't be hearty and strong that way.

well yeah, you have to properly water your plants first. I let at least 10% of the water I put in, come out the bottom. That way the whole things is thouroughly wet. But if its wet at all, it wont be wilting from lack of water. they only wilt if they are BONE DRY. so I still say over watering, but then again I only get super dank herb from my harvests. its up to you.
