whell i wanted to buy one of those hoods but it were to exspensive so i got a big fan and just made it blow over my grow room from outside in and temps went down heavily
I purchased my air-cooled hood for about $100 delivered. With it, and adequate ventilation (160 cfm) I can keep the temps within a couple degrees of ambient. At 400w, a cooled hood can be set to just above the plant tops, too.
