Help...Over LSTed and cracked

Hello RIU, I'm a long time lurker (3 years) and it's my 1st post. Here's why I decided to post: I made my first LST mistake today I happened to overdone and cracked open the base stems.

Please give advice what to do next will it recover?

wrap some rubber wire around it to close up the cuts, it will heal and be fine.

Thanks! I don't have any rubber wire but I do have fabric tape. I hope it works

Even if you tie it up so the cracks are closed it will heal and be perfectly fine.
I've snapped them to the point where its holding on by a bit of skin kind of thing and they mend themselves.
Slows growth a bit while it heals but it will be just fine!
