I am trying to post pics, I explained what I had in another post but let me be a little more in depth this time.
2 inline fans
1 oscillating fan
1 stationary fan
1ac unit
1 600w lamp. Melonhead reflector
3x3 tent
7 plants
I am stuck in the 80s I am running at 82-88 and I cant seem to get down to 72-78 I just finished watching jorge cervantes video and for the most part I thought my tent should be chilly by now. I do live where the temps do reach 100+ all summer as well as the house AC is set to 78 which every other room is cool. Thanks guys in advance.

running a 5x5 tent....my amient temp is 70*F in the room the tent set up in .

With the use of a 450 cfm exhaust fan to exhaust the heat out a window and the 3 lower tent vents open (4x18 inch).....

A 600 watt mh runs the tent at 75 *F about 4-5* above ambient temp of the room

A 1000 watt runs the tent about 10* hotter than the ambient temp of the room

So if your ambient temp of the house is 78*F... in my 5x5 the tent would get to 82-83...So a 3x3 would get warmer cause its a smaller area with the same heat source

My flower 3x3 has a 600 but cool tube. I lowered the fan so the hot air goes to the top to get sucked out. Only draws air from the bottom. 2 6" exhaust. one onthe tube and one on top. Still about 78.

I cant say I am big time like that yet sandiegojack2 but nice setup. Coho I would be super happy to get out of the 80's the MelonHead looks like it does have a cooltube in it and it is exhausted out, I have a feeling I am missing something super simple and just need someone to say there's the mistake.

100_0676.jpga picture of the ducting going to my 8 in
100_0675.jpgthe front of my 8in do I need to exhaust this out of the room?
100_0673.jpgAc unit in front of the tent and the vent for my light
100_0674.jpg6in pulling the air out of my tent. Does this need to be exhausted as well?

It helps to vent outside or attic. Saves on ac too. Pic of light and inside setup?

Dont vent to your atttic... moist warm air promotes mold in your attic... if you do vent there.... make sure your attic has a big ass gable vent

I will put it up later tonight, hopefully I don't get bashed too hard I got some plant from a buddy of mine and well they weren't in great shape but they are coming back I just haven't figured out how to fix the purple stems issue its not on all the leave stems but its on some but not on the stock maybe its slowly going away. Now if only I could figure out which was which when it comes to names maybe it was a trait of the plant..

you might want to add a ducted centrifugal fan to that list? extremely efficient for dispelling heat from your grow space :bigjoint:

good looking set-up! cool air in bottom exhaust out opposite side top....look's like 270cfm should...that goe's through a cool tube right?? wait there should be passive A.C. available bottom unregulated....fan to pull exhaust out larger cfm than A.C. in...fan pumping air throught cool tube and exhausted out side ...right??? You have it all...just get the flow right..use metal elbo's for 90 degree bend's!! your flow will improve...hope this help's jack

good news and bad news I was able to get my temps down to 70-78 which is awesome but I cant post my ladies because my camera and seeds for my next run were stolen.:fire:

It should help it you actually put the ac and fan inside the tent....without doing that theres no point in having the fans/ac in that room. Make a baffle box and run the a/c into a duct the connects to the bottom flap or cut another one to put it into the tent another way. Vent the exhaust outside of the room with the tent and reduce ducting turns to improve airflow. This will make it cooler in there definitly. You aren't cooling the room right now u have 2 different rooms right now one that you are pumping heated grow room air into and another you are sucking the semi cooled hot growroom air from back into the room you are trying to cool. Maybe im worng but thta wht i saw from the pics. as for mold in ur attic i woulnt worry too bad dep. on ur climate i see bathrooms where venting doesnt terminate outside all the time wihtout mold. if u live in a hot dry climate dont bother now if u live near waster in a humid wet climate get tht shit outta there asap a small tent wont do shit in a dry climate. esp in may-sept.

80's isn't a big deal (strain dependent) but cooler the better always cooler rooms make fake purple weed (40deg water in a less than 70's room justa fyi)
