OK here is the problem....I am going to be harvesting 2 plants no later than the 4th of January.....I have to move by January 5th so what would be the safest way to package them so they can dry? Also what can I do to keep the SMELL DOWN ? And what can I do to give me the best odds of not having hay smelling bad tasting buds? I will be staying in a condo for at least a month till house is finished so any ideas on how to dry and cure without stinking up the condo and not smelling like hay would be a blessing....Please help

Dittos on the paper bag. Thats what I always use because of lack of an adequate dark place to hang. After a few days in the sack and it feels like it has dried up quite a bit break/cut off the buds and or leaves if you harvest those too and put them in glass jars. Keep in the dark and open the lid every day for a while to let them get some air..keep mildew away etc. Somebody on here mentioned 10 seconds with the lid off each day for a month. That works for me. Thanks to whoever mentioned that strategy. Dont pack the jars too tight. About half full works well.

paper bags inside a cardboard box with newspaper, like you would pack glasses. stay away from the plastic bags as the plastic will trap moisture and invite mold problems later on.
ps-
and dont forget to cure it.... jars work best, the longer the cure the better the bud

I like to use old glass baby food bottles. I tape the outsides with electrical tape so no light then open them often. or canning jars with tin foil

I was saying the plastic bag to transport for smell. You could go 24hr in a paper bag with out mold. Depending on temps.
