HELP Please - Timing on IWS basic system ?? Only has 15 min timeclock !!!! Confused !

Hi All

Trying one of these out and it's a basic 12 pot system, it only has one clock that can be set at 15min intervals for either or drain, it has not got the second 'dial/knob' to set the flood time.....

Using clay pebbles with 3" rockwool cubes sey in aqua pots.

What do i need the settings to be ?

Does it alter between veg/flower ??

Do i need to flood more or for longer when placing cubes in system until roots have developed ???

Any help/advice much appreciated.

you havent got the flood an drain brain u have the bubbler style system from IWS

Its flood/drain BASIC system, not a bubbler, ?

How can you have bubbles in a flood/drain system ???? only in main res for aeration...

check there site there is TWO system one where have airstone in each bucket with only one timer with NO! dial.

other with a dial an smaller buckets

As I stated in first post.

It is a basic IWS system. Flood and drain.

NOT deep water culture DWC.

Ive watched a couple of vids on it and the duration of the flood was 15 but not sure of intervals. When i was timing my floods it was every 2 hours but you'll get a lot of answers here i would think. I now have a continuos flood but different system, kinda like a Nft/rdwc lol. If the roots are developed flood can probably stay the same for the duration but as I said there are people here that know way more than me. My last tray was turned off for 1 week after i had gotten all the main buds off and the plants were still thriving with no flood, there was a massive root structure though😳. Buggers just wouldnt die lol.

must be a old system then as all new ones u get two boxes one on the brain an one u fit to the wall with a dial on.
