Unfortunately for us impatient growers, harvesting at the right time is just as important as how you grow the plant. Harvest too soon and you lose potency and cannabis yields; too late and you can end up making a batch of sleep medicine. These 6 buds are in the harvest window. Buds are ready to harvest when most of the “hairs” have darkened and curled in and you can see the solid bud underneath.
I hope you can caluculate with this,
Harvest when 70-90% of hairs have darkened for highest levels of THC.
Harvest when 90-100% of hairs have darkened for a more calming.

Thank you for your reply do you think it would be okay of I chopped them today as long as it isn't to early I wouldn't mind

You don't go by the hairs for cannabinoids, you go by the trichs.

I would have waited for a reply. Unless your plants are stressed out, a day or two won't hurt your yield. Until you develop a good eye for growing, a loupe is indispensable for identifying trichs readiness.

This is horrible advise for a newbie. Horrible.

Will do thank you I will leave a couple of weeks then I guess as a new grower I am being impatient
Get a loupe on amazon. You wanna check your trichs. Some people harves solely by trichs, some do it by calyx size. There's so many factors like density, terpine production, and potency that have different indicators for readiness. But get a loupe. The max potency occurs with mostly milky trichomes.

If a loupe is out of the question.

Zoom in lol.

It's not perfect but it's a reasonable work around.
