put those cheap sticky traps around to be safe and try to identify your fly. Once you can identify you'll know if its a threat by looking it up or asking us. The sticky trap will help identify as well you know. Usually with insect issues problems are either there or not. I am not sure if fruit flys are harmful or not but i would not allow them in my area. Identify them and find out.

almost garunteed the gnats are coming from the soil. Unless there are hundreds flying around getting sucked up into your nose then its not a big deal. I see one or 2 every once in a while in my room, no worries.

need to stir up a bit of your soil n if you see alot of em crawlin round in it (youll have to look close) then you needa get em outta tat soil asap. the larva will eat your roots n eventually kill your babes. if the soils clear tho, like breeder say get some sticky traps n a fly swatter n jus take care of em as you see them. i had a pretty ba gnat problem, n got some ortho ecosense 3-in-1 rose and flower care shit tat protects against bugs n funguses n havent had a problem since, but your gonna have to carefully rinse the stuff off as it dries wit a white film, not sure if it clogs up anythin but look like you let a money shot go on your lil darlins... and tats pedophilia
