help plzzz

would it be okay to veg three plants under three 42w cfls in a space of about 1+1/2 ft by 1+1/2 by by three ish ft or would the plants barely grow

Are these actual 42watts or equivalents? I would say don't try to vegg at all. With three feet of top space your plant may very well already run out of room even if you start off flowering with no vegg time. & try to get stronger bulbs. I use 5 300watt equivalents for 1plant & she loves it. Your also looking for a kelvin value of about 2700k. That's the best light spectrum for flowering since in my opinion you should not vegg. Unless you are growing a dwarf plant.

I'm using 2 42's in a PC case and rockin'. If you're concerned about getting crap buds out of a couple cfl's, check my grow (in sig) and look for a guy who posts on there named v12xjs. His grows are absolutely masterful with MONSTER nugs. 15-20g per plant. To me, that's not too shabby w/ about 100 watts of cfl.

You'll do great. Just think.. you have double the height I do.
