HELP!! Question about 240v outlet LUMATEK BALLAST

I am planning on putting a grow show in my laundry room where i already have a 220v (standard electric dryer) outlet like the one below.

Im planning on using a LUMATEK DUAL 600w 240v ballast.

My question is will this work and if so do I need to make any modifications
to my outlet?

that will work. will have to go to homedeopt and buy the plug and wire your self. You will see two hots (red and black or black/black) and a ground.
