So I've been lurkin' and researchin' on here for a while, and have finally reached the point where a little advice from someone who's been there would be a huge help.
I'm in the process of outfitting a small tent and was wondering if there were any advanced techniques I might use (SOG, ScOG) to maximize the space.
I'm planning on using six or so 23W CFLs to provide 9600 Lumens, with some kind of hydroponic setup, which will most likely be a small Rubbermaid container outfitted with a bubbler and as many net pots as I can cram into the lid.
My main question is: I'm working from regular, non-feminized seeds (a nice Indica) - could I adapt a ScOG to work here? I understand that it's typically not done because once the time comes for sexing, the plants are so interwoven into the fabric of the screen that the males can't be separated without damage being done to their sisters, but couldn't one simply kill the males before they develop the ability to pollinate and leave their stems untouched? Or at least untouched until they can be more gingerly extricated?
Also, I'd love to hear any general tips on growing in a small space!
Thanks!
