HELP soil ph measures 5.0 HELP

I tested my soils runoff today and it measures a 5.0, I'm starting to notice little things but nothing major yet. What should i expect to happen and what can i do to fix this. Can i add 7.0 water to correct this?

What soil are you using? Get yourself powdered dolomite lime, it buffers low ph. You can either mix some into the top of your soil or add it to fresh water (it won't dissolve) and water. If you gonna mix it with water i would suggest doing it 2 or 3 waterings. It won't affect your ph immediately but i would say over 2 to 3 weeks and it will keep your ph in check till harvest if done right. Plus dolomite lime also adds calc and mag.
It might show small effects now but if you don't act soon you will run into major nute lockouts.
Good luck

I agree with what was said, but flush with PH 7 water first,
Flush 3 times the water of the pot size, so for 1 gal pot, flush with 3 gallons of PH 7 water.
You can still put some dolomite lime on top of the soil as well.
Don't expect immediate results, you cant reverse any damage, but you will stop it from getting worse. Good luck.:peace:
