HELP!! TIp of plant yellowish brown

HELP!! First Grow Bubbleponics-1 week old slight yellowish brown on edges
3 have germinated and sprouted just wondering if they were looking right and healthy for that age? also one of the three has slight yellowing on an edge any thoughts>? i plan on growing 6 plants im getting another 10 gal bucket to make a dwc for the first three that rout than the other 3 will stay in the bubbleponics setup. Im getting a 400 watt hps/mh in the next couple of days. i will also be growing 3 autoflowering plants. 2 blue himalya and 1 blue him diesel n a different room (should i go cfls or shuld i just get a 150 or 250 watt hps for it?)

Looking good; how old are they?

Could be a deficiency of nitrogen since you said you havent added any food yet.

Cfl's should be fine since it is for a short plant. Just make sure you have complete coverage of the plant.

That temp is fine for growing.

Ya I would say that they could use a low dose of nutrients if you have only given them water as of yet, then again, plain old tap water should have enough solids in it to bring them to their second set of leaves or so. I am not familiar with bubbleponics, but I had some Happy Frog soil that I planted my seeds in and they took to it like ducks to water and are growing great.

I would always recommend using HID lights over CFL when growing in the Vegetative stage. If you can pull it off, go with the HID. More lumens means better growth and size. For the first 10 days I had a CFL over mine and then when they got their second set of leaves, I switched them too a 400w MH and they will stay under that until they are fully rooted in their 1 gallon pots, then move on to being retransplanted into 10 gallon containers and put under 1000w MH's.
