Hey so I thinkhave more than one problem......Maybe I should just give up.....
I'm a first time grower, so im sorry if this is common knowledge or an easy fix. I recieved a clone from a friend 16 days ago. It had two bottom leaves as well as newly developed third top leaf. A week ago the bottom leaves started to turn yellow, while the new leaves that grew were bright green. Now the old growth is very pale yellow and the leaves are paper like and look scorched in some spots. The new growth is green at first and then slowly starts to yellow (they still seem healthy though). The stem is also turning purple on its upper parts.
I use a 75watt neodymium bulb (5in away from top) and am growning in organic MGro potting soil mixed with chicken grit (small granite rock bits) and have not added any nutrients. I water twice a week using tap water that I leave out for a couple days before using as as well as mist with the same water twice a day. The pH is at 6.6 .
Well what do you think the problem is/are? Could it be that the havent taken root yet? (There were roots about 2.5 in long when I put them into the soil.) I hope the pictures help. Thank you.
