Help w/ soil ASAP

Some scumbag kicked in my side door tonight and helped himself to about 50 plants in my newly built flowering room. I'm in it now cleaning up a huge mess and I need to know if I can reuse the soil from the 1gl pots. He cut the plants at the base so I have about 50 1gl soil balls. I use Pro-Mix soil which is $50 a bale. Can I shake the shit out of the rootball and reuse the soil? Obviously there's gonna be some small veiny type roots but nothing big. Can I do that or would it be a problem? Thanx a lot.

I've reused soil in a pinch with no problems

I started growing about 14 months ago. I do reuse soil, but I am learning that there is a limit. I won't be reusing more than once from now on, if that. (probably will, cuz I am buying really good stuff now). Anyway, I think there is some soil that has been used at least three times, and I have a couple plants which are ready to chop that show some issues. They'll be ok, but I believe they could have been much better. Started having nute or lockout problems halfway through bud. Live and learn.

Depends on what your feeding them if organics your ok if chem ferts than I don't recommend it.

I think a more important question to ask is what will you do to keep said scumbag from coming back?

well obviously have you spilled out that you are growing cause for som one to chop 50 plants would know your time schedule makes me wonder

yea if someone breaks into your house to steal your flowering plants, he would know your schedule..u must know this person

I should think the soil would be just fine, i'd gather it all and mix it really well. This is one of those times where you may have to jusdt get up and move somewhere else or make a big change in how do you this. Sorry this probably only makes you more paranoid, but... uh...
